The Dalton Highway

north to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska August 2024

The Dalton Highway, formerly referred to as the North Slope Haul Road is a 414 mile road in Alaska that was built as a supply road to support the Trans-Alaskan Pipeline System in the early 70s.

This stretch of road provided us with endless mud, so many rainbows I lost count, musk ox sightings, seeing a red fox with its goose catch, and our second Arctic Ocean plunge!
